E-mail Chizuk Lists
There is a
lot of material out there on the subject of guarding the eyes and the Bris,
but sometimes "too much" is overwhelming.

General Chizuk in Shmiras Ainayim
This list will
focus less on the "addiction" aspect and more on general Chizuk in
Shmiras Ainayim that anyone can use, addicted or not. This list is less

The GYE Handbook.
This is a PDF e-book that can be downloaded from the homepage of our website
here). It details 18 suggested tools and techniques in progressive
order, beginning with the most basic and fundamental approaches to dealing
with this addiction, and continuing down through increasingly earnest and

1) In order
that the e-mails should not pile up with your junk mail or get mixed up with
your other e-mails, we suggest making a folder called "GUE" (GuardUrEyes)
in your email program, and have all the chizuk emails directed automatically
to that folder.
Here's how to do this in 'Outlook-Express':
When you receive your first email from firstname.lastname@example.org
1) Highlight the email by pressing on it once,
2) Press ALT+M+E. This will bring up a
New Mail Rule dialog
box which says: Where the From line contains
3) Select 'Move it to specified folder'
(under the number 2) to direct this and future chizuk emails to your
new GUE folder.
If you are afraid that someone might discover you are getting these e-mails
and deduce that you are struggling in these areas, please note: you can make
yourself a special e-mail address on-line, separate from your normal e-mail
address, such as chizukList@gmail.com or whatever, and receive the e-mails there. With
your own private password, no one will see the e-mails you get.
